Hi friends!

We are a little family of three - Dad, Mom and L. We are Filipinos based in Dubai, UAE. Our son is three years old and on the autism spectrum.

We started this journey scared, alone and with no handbook on how to navigate parenthood with an autistic son.

We are still scared, we still don't know what to do all the time but we are no longer alone. This gave us an opportunity to create and find our tribe not just here in the UAE but across the globe. Sharing our stories - the good and the bad - felt uncomfortable at first because of people's judgments but why should we hide? If parents of neurotypical kids can share their milestones online, so could we.

The time to break the stigma is now. Hence, FLAP was born.

Flourishing Lives for Ausome People

A flourishing life is often marked by a sense of purpose, meaningful relationships, personal growth, and overall happiness. Because everybody deserves to flourish, neurotypical & neurodivergent alike.

With this, we started a brand that promotes an inclusive environment for the autism community. A brand that can be worn by everyone in hopes that it would spark a meaningful conversation...with a little style. ;)

May we plant the seeds for our son to grow in an environment where acceptance, inclusion and belonging matter and not things he should fight for.
